Lee Dong Gun and his wife Jo Yoon Hee will be taking their leave from 'Newlywed Diary 2' for the expecting mother's health.
On August 18, their agencies stated, "Due to the strain to Jo Yoon Hee's health, they've had to take their leave from tvN's 'Newlywed Diary 2'... Though they tried to meet viewers in a good light due to the strength they received from so many people's support, there was a sudden strain on Jo Yoon Hee's health while preparing to film. This is why they could not avoid this decision."
The Lee Dong Gun-Jo Yoon Hee further couple apologized for inconveniencing the show and letting down viewers.
In their stead, announcer couple Oh Sang Jin and Kim So Young will be joining the show alongside previously confirmed couple Jang Yoon Joo and Jung Seung Min.
