KBS2's 'Happy Together 3' has announced a 'Sorry, Friends' special episode, shortly after controversy arose from their 500th episode, during which a number of celebrity guests were called in to the show on the spot and received varying amounts of screen time.

Part 2 of 'Happy Together 3's 'Good to See You, Friend' special had the show's MCs and panelists calling in their celebrity friends on random missions. Guests who showed up included Yoo Byung Jae, Lee Jin Ho, Song Jae HeeDinDinGuillaume PatryOh Sang JinBlock B's Park KyungJo Bo AhChoi Yoon Young, and Lee Myung Hoon.

While the guests on the 'Sorry, Friends' have not been confirmed yet, the show's PD said, "Because more guests than we expected came during the 500th episode special, we were not able to have ample conversation time with each. This time, we will chase away the regrets by receiving our guests properly."

The PD continued, "We've yet to determine when the episode will air, but we hope to air it as soon as possible."

500th special turns into screw up special. Should have done it in studio inviting former mc which would be more appropriate and memorable. it would have been a great walking on memory lane had former mc came.

What about IU? She's not included in the list.

I'm glad they're doing this. I thought it was a bit much for them to try and bring 3 guests each. They should've just stuck to 1.

To be honest i'm not bothered by the little screen time for the guest. its normal when they didn't expect to have so many guest came unprepared for interviews and they only have like half an hour of episode left and in the end only the popular ones like insung and IU gets the cake. The only complaints for me is the fact they recruit more people on the show like sooyong didn't even talk much (more quiet than the guest), yongman was a bit too direct and oldschool in terms of family talkshow, seokjin was alright but theres too much people already

They couldve used that first 10 minutes where they just showed previous episode crap.... and pushed the last bit to the next week. But w/e, at least they're making up for it now.

yeah that as well. i guess they wanted to put more bits on jo insung since its like a once in a lifetime appearance

But truth be told, even on regular episodes, Guests never get equal screentime anyway. Even guests acknowledge often times how it's always a challenge to get screentime, especially when they're on together with popular celebrities or really good variety guests.

someone said to me HT not charity show. ^_^ I dont mind with the special episode but for regular episode they should 'know' how to give fair screentime for the guests, for me to be fair does not mean all the guests get 20 minutes screentime but they should not just there to introduce themselves & then disappear.

The Happy Together 3 cast and crew shouldn't have to apologize for the screen time of the guests. The episodes are only so long and they can only include the most interesting parts of the interviews and that the flow of the episode makes sense. How could the PD's have known that so many people would end up stopping by. This episode was very on-the-fly since they were calling people randomly and hoping their celeb friends would come by. Half the fun of the episode was seeing who would actually come and if the cast could complete the missions. Of course celebs like IU and Jo In Sung would get more screen time since they are super famous and rarely appear on variety shows. And if the guests were random then it's not like there would be a script or something to guide the cast in having a deep conversation with all the guests.

Now they have to make sure that all the guests will have equal air time, hopefully they would be able to satisfy the viewers since that's still a lot of guests to handle.

Good for them, one of my favorite shows and very nice of all the guests who will come back. Classy move all around.
