EXO will be making a comeback in July without Lay.
On June 23, SM Entertainmentannounced EXO will be returning with only 8 members, explaining Lay is unable to promote with the group due to his schedule in China. The agency stated, "Lay had something in China that's been confirmed for his schedule since a long time ago. It's disappointing, but after discussing it with him, we've decided he won't be able to promote for this album. He personally feels bad about it as well," adding that Lay did not want to disappoint fans.
EXO will be filming a music video this week. Lay is reported to be receiving a lot of love in China with offers for movies and variety shows.
