According to reports on June 2, another Big Bang member had to undergo testing for drugs this past April during an investigation. It's reported the member in question wasn't just tested for marijuana, but for an array of drugs. Though the drug test results were negative, the reports are adding to speculations that there are wider issues at YG Entertainment as multiple labelmates are falling under suspicion of drug use.

There are also updates on T.O.P's military enlistment, which is under scrutiny as he was serving at the Gangnam Police Station as a conscripted policeman. Reporters waited for T.O.P to leave the station after his questioning, but a rep from the police stated, "T.O.P won't be leaving no matter how long you wait. Disciplinary action will be discussed after the results of the investigation. In the meantime, he is not allowed to leave the barracks."

Stay tuned for updates.

basically it's becoming a witchhunt at yge, since they now have a record with a few artists and "drugs". "another bb member's possible drug use has come to light" it says but i feel like they would have checked more labelmates anyway, their only suspicion being how bb now has 2 members out of 5 with this charge. seeing how every result came back negative just makes me think this. i wouldn't be surprised if more yge artists would be checked up on from now on. tbh if this is such a big issue in this industry then i'd have make them take tests annually or some shit, i doubt that that way idols/artists would be so careless with korean laws. otherwise, i-fans could care less about some weed back in 2011 when it was GD, and not much changed since then.

if you're gonna give them random drug tests why not give every idol tests. I mean just a couple weeks ago some celebrity was doing drugs in his car ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

RAS33 SuperFly_Snuka Saturday, June 3, 2017

cause they are no different then people and that would mean every person should get tested now

kenichi_kun SuperFly_Snuka Saturday, June 3, 2017

its not "random" they most likely gave them drug tests cus theyre under suspicion.

YGE is one of the agencies that perform drug testing religiously. I booked a MV with a YG group as an extra and they demanded I submit to a drug test. I've been in MV for 3 other agencies as a fill in and they don't ask for a drug test.

what gets me is, as soon as people enter or are entering the military, alot of celebrities an idols become hot topics for scandals, its like we will still paparazzi your asses even when your in the military, there is no peace for you

RAS33 shyloone Saturday, June 3, 2017

this wasn't a paparazzi thing though he was tested and results revealed to public

shyloone RAS33 Saturday, June 3, 2017

yes but he was only tested because of spies bigmouths an you name it, the paparazzi thing is about all celebrities not just this

BBVIP2006 Saturday, June 3, 2017

I would not try to defend him though. He did wrong. I hope he will be responsible and reflect. Still ❤️ BB.

I guess this is what happens in the YG basement

it's not that they are locked in the dungeons, they just can't find their way out bc it's smoky.

He's already a multi millionaire. Banishing him from kpop won't hurt his image. Korean viewers are dumb enough to believe actors act like villains in real life, so he'll just be casted as a bad guy in movies and he'll be fine.

sheldon_egg Friday, June 2, 2017

the other Bigbang's member's result was negative so why even mention it?! The press is just trying to make this bigger than it is.

well damn

If the police wanted to catch pot heads so desperately, they should go to an SM town concert. And no I'm not trying to be a hater or anything of the sort. That's actually a true story. That place gets covered in weed smoke damn quick. Either way, it's pot, the only people that care are crazy conservatives, or teens who haven't gone to college yet.

Well, all haters here are practically angels who did not do anything wrong their entire lives. They're god-like. Judging people like they're lily-white pure. Translation: A bunch of HYP*****ES.
