On the May 3 broadcast of tvN's 'Wednesday Food Talk', MC Shin Dong Yup shared his traumatic incident at a friend's buffet!
He explained that during his junior high school days, a wealthy friend invited him to a buffet. Not wanting to feel left out, Shin Dong Yup commented that he lied to his friends saying that he's eaten at buffets before.
Apart from his friends who were enjoying their time, Shin Dong Yup confessed his heart palpitated while he was at the buffet. He even took the neatly wrapped napkin and put it over his head thinking it was a party hat, causing the viewers to laugh out loud. His friends, fortunately, took it as a joke, saying, "Dong Yup is hilarious as always." With that, he naturally placed the napkin down saying, "Right? That was funny, right?" describing how he pulled the rather serious incident as a light joke.
