Joo Won mentioned his feelings prior to entering the military after wrapping up his shoot for his new drama 'My Sassy Girl'. "My schedule has been so hectic lately. I think my overall thoughts for the army has been constantly shifting," he opened up.

When asked whom he would like to work with once he returns from his military duties, Joo Won mentioned Kang Dong Won, saying, "I've heard that I look a lot like Kang Dong Won sunbaenim and he knows so as well. So I think it would be fun to act like brothers."
Joo Won left for his mandatory military service on May 16 in the Gangwon Province and will officially begin his duties after completing basic 5-week training.
