UP10TION's Japanese single 'ID' gets certified Gold by the RIAJ!

UP10TION has received a gold certification in Japan!

Last month, UP10TION's debut single album 'ID' sold over 167,000 copies, becoming the most-sold debut album by a K-Pop artist of all time! Now, they have received the honor of being certified Gold. According to the RIAJ, or Recording Industry Association of Japan, an album needs to sell over 250,000 copies to be certified "Platinum" and below that is the "Gold" certification, meaning that an album needs to sell over 100,000 copies. The RIAJ website was recently updated showing that 'ID' was certified 'Gold'.
