Red Velvet's Seulgi and Irene, Roy Kim, and DinDin made guest appearances on the April 14 broadcast of 'Baek Jong Won's Top 3 Chefs'!
The guests, alongside panelists Lee Si Young and Kim Ji Min, divided up into three teams of two to compete in making unique kimchi fried rice recipes.
Roy Kim, who teamed up with Seulgi, led their team in a recipe involving kimchi friend rice, pollock roe, and mayonnaise. Although the recipe was Roy Kim's, the judges, chef Baek Jong Won and comedian Kim Joon Hyun, pointed out that he was actually making Seulgi do all the work, while Roy Kim gave instructions beside her or became preoccupied wiping sweat from his forehead.
The pair presented the judges with the pollock roe & kimchi fried rice with pollock roe & mayonnaise sauce on the side, shaped into an adorable teddy bear sleeping under an egg blanket! The unique flavor was able to pronounce Roy Kim and Seulgi the winner, and to celebrate, Roy Kim performed "Bom Bom Bom" live with his guitar.
The recipe does look delicious!
