The drama will tell the story of those whose worlds have been turned upside down after becoming victims to various types of crimes, and how they come together to overcome their shock and their losses, forming a group and callings themselves 'Protectors'. Lee Si Young will be playing Jo Soo Ji, a policewoman who lost her daughter to a crime, and who joins the 'Protectors' to punish the criminal, whose wealth and status allowed him to dodge serious criminal charges. Kim Young Kwang will be playing Jang Do Han, an investigator whose unfortunate past gradually turns him into a monster hungry for revenge.
