DIA's Jung Chae Yeon revealed she'd been approached by another celebrity during the filming of tvN's 'Life Bar'.

The idol star confessed a male celebrity asked her out after she debuted. Jung Chae Yeon revealed, "He told a common friend that he wanted to be closer to me. I think it's better to get to know each other for a while and to know me and date naturally instead of just trying to ask me out after seeing me on TV."

The episode will air on the 9th at 11PM KST, and Cosmic Girls' Cheng Xiao, LABOUM's Solbin, and Seo Shin Ae are also appearing as guests!

he didnt know of your existence TILL he saw you you on tv and asked a common friend for help. theres nothing wrong with that dear LMAO. her level of logic sounds like its best she stay single for awhile, mature, then date after a couple of years. Right now she might have many ppl flocking after her. EDIT: for ppl not reading between the lines, let me clarify, IF he says "I saw u in DIA, u r hot lets date" thats creepy, IF he says "hey you are a great performer and it looks like you have a great personality, can i get to know you better pls?" is sweet. Using a middleman to naturally become close is one of many ways to meet but SHE REJECTED THAT IDEA and expects you find a way to meet her directly (no middleman help) OR work with her, which IMO is fine but a little unrealistic as she is limiting her options, IF shes serious about dating. Shes not serious about dating hence the wishy washy answer.. On camera, she cant bluntly say "im just not that into you mr celebrity, but thanks". To be fair she didnt say the reason WHY exactly he approached her so it could have gone both ways (creep or not creep that is the question)

lol what a jump! He wanted to meet her for a date not book a hotel room. And guess what, its not just actors that ask a friend of a friend to introduce them to a girl. It's how people meet. For instance; I talked briefly to a postman the other week, he then went to my brother in law who is also a postman to try to arrange a meeting between me and his friend. I was not interested but flattered. This is how normal people make connections.

I think its impossible for her to date when she merely debut, Even if its not her agency's restriction, i think she herself will not want to be in a relationship and risk killing her new career, before it is even stable. with Acting, singing, and CFs keeping her busy, i doubt she has time for all that anyway. (Girl's Day) HYERI was involved with TONY AN for awhile. Which, HYERI was Age 19 at the time of that relationship beginning ; TONY AN was Age 34 (about). So, I have no problem with it. But, I would observe that DIA Group is pretty much doing a WHOLESOME Concept (APink) type situation. Which, having say JUNG CHAEYEON dating CHOIZA (on the rebound) is simply NOT going to 'sell well' with K-pop Fans.
