On February 6, Pledis Entertainment revealed that three members of PRISTIN will not be attending their high school graduation.
They stated, "Although it is true Kyulkyung (Jieqiong) is graduating from Seoul Performing Arts High School (SOPA), she will not be attending the graduation ceremony."
Debuting from 'Produce 101' with former idol group IOI, Kyulkyung is currently preparing for the debut of PRISTIN.
The agency added, "Not only Kyulkyung but Jung Eunwoo and Kang Yebin will also not be attending the ceremony as they are busy preparing for PRISTIN's debut."
Netizens commented, "It's their one and only high school graduation. The agency should let the girls attend," "This is just wrong, they are still students," "Please allow them to attend the graduation ceremony."
