Michelle Lee explains why she's glad she won 2nd place on 'Hip Hop Nation 2' in 'GanGee'

Singer Michelle Lee opened up about her experience on 'Hip Hop Nation 2' in 'GanGee' magazine. 

First, she expressed admiration for sunbae Yoon Mi Rae, saying, "I've been a fan of Yoon Mi Rae, 2Pac, and 50Cent since I was little. I have especially been a long fan of Yoon Mi Rae sunbaenim. I've grown up singing her songs from her days as UPTOWN, Tasha, T, to Yoon Mi Rae."

She continued, "I think that's why I gained attention even though I'd only trained for a month and a half before appearing on 'Hip Hop Nation 2'." 

Michelle Lee also talked about winning 2nd place, and said, "I'm actually glad that I won 2nd place. If I had won 1st place then the public's expectations would've gone up higher and that could've made things difficult for me. I believe this gave me an opportunity to hear compliments like, 'Oh she won 2nd place but she's really good'."
