During the showcase for 'Mystery of VENUS' on January 11, Hello Venus member Yooyoung opened up about the long break the group had.

She said, "As the preparations for the album took longer, I worried often that the public would forget about us.  Whenever that happened, I would go into our fan cafe and read our fans' comments to gain strength.  I endured the hiatus with the thought that we should use this time to increase our individual skills during the time off."

I think a lot of groups with long hiatus (greater than 1.5 years or 2 years) would be worried since the kpop industry is moving so fast with so many new groups debut each year and that the population of kpop lovers in the country is more or less fixed, so the "fans" will likely be fans of another group when they are in hiatus.

Good luck to them.

Instead of focusing on the fans who might leave and forget, she should focus on the moments she have with her girls and perform for the fans who stayed.

i understand idols who debut 2012 and later than that are overshadow by a lot of rookies that's why mostly of ending contract idols end their contract and disbanded, pursuing acting or other stuff instead, while he or she trained for long just to debut as a singer so it is kinda sad... so the rookies who just debuted and got success in short time, enjoy the moment while it is yours... time will only tell, lucky if you have made your name and got popular even there's a lot of rookies and idols, and even you got dating scandal still popular,  like mostly of sm artists and yg artists because they already made a name..and that they are on big companies.. sad reality of kpop life... but as long as you made great music, show your talent and good attitude all he while you will never be forgotten, just sometimes people has a change of heart, it just few who are really are loyal fan...when they see new pretty face they will switch to them hehe well i guess that's reality, welcome to kpop world..

She has every right to be scared! They're pretty talented but they just aren't out there enough, or getting those CRAZY track hits! Personally I thought I'm ill was their strongest hit and that came what... years later? Top track makers gear their music to elsewhere in the industry cause there's just too much competition!

Individual skills, like Lime's rapping that happened once, blew everyone away then never happened again.
