On January 8, viewers of MBC 'Human Documentary-People Are Good', were able to see another side of entertainer HaHa, who recently opened up about his past life experiences, including those regarding his good buddies Geun Shik and Sang Gyu, whom he shares 20 years of friendship with.

When Geun Shik suffered after a severe motorcycle accident, HaHa stepped up to help his friend, who had lost his hopes and dreams  Together, they decided to open up a restaurant.

"All of a sudden, Geun Shik crushed his hip due to a motorcycle accident," HaHa recalled the unthinkable moment. "Without noticing the chin there, Sang Gyun turned around and injured his arm... With that, a golfer couldn't use his arm anymore, and a friend who dreamt of becoming any action star couldn't use his leg. They were unemployed and so I said, 'let's all just live together,'" he added.

Having promised to live together when they were little,  HaHa lived with his friends for two years after the accident, planning on how to make a living once again.

They made the decision to start a restaurant. It was all thnks to his motto of sticking together, which made all the differece. During that time, he had received much criticism from people saying not to do it, or that he wasn't going to make it. HaHa then stated firmly, "I will prove to you that the restaurant will be a success."  

His friend said, "I thought maybe if I were like HaHa, I could do something like that but I probably wouldn't have done that," thanking HaHa for his assistance.

When others claimed he took it a bit too far in giving, HaHa said the opposite; it was him who received a lot from his friends.  

HaHa continued, "Honestly, people think I helped my friends out; however, they helped me instead. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here right now," illustrating the importance of true friendship.

Meanwhile, HaHa is busy working as a singer, entertainer, as well as maintaining both his agency and BBQ restaurant.
