It was the first time the actor would be meeting any of his onscreen wife's parents, and it was clear he was nervous. Gong Myung told producers, "I felt like my body was freezing up. I worried about every little thing from what I wore to how I was sitting."
Jung Hye Sung's dad grilled him, asking, "Did you exercise when you were young? Everyone does taekwondo, right? What do you know about Jung Hye Sung." Gong Myung responded, "Her charm is that she's kind." Mr. Jung then followed up with questions about Gong Myung's military plans to which Jung Hye Sung expressed, "Stop talking about the military. It's no fun."
Mr. Jung also advised, "If a man is like a dump truck, a woman is more complicated and sensitive. You must always give her love. A man needs to be responsible and look out for the woman. The man who makes his wife cry is the most lacking person."
No wonder Gong Myung was scared!
