Yoo Jae Suk won the grand prize, the daesang, at the '2016 MBC Entertainment Awards' that took place on December 29, and although most Koreans were touched by his acceptance speech, President Park supporters used the speech to attack and accuse Yoo Jae Suk of being a 'left' supporter.

During the acceptance speech, Yoo Jae Suk stated, "...I feel and learn many things through 'Infinity Challenge.' Especially as I learn about Korean history, I realized that when a nation goes through a difficult time, it is the people who rescue the country, that it's the people who are the true owners of a nation..."

He also stated, "These days, people use the expression, 'to walk on a flower path' a lot. I wish for the new year to be a year where all of Korea's citizens can walk on the flower path, not just a few people."

Following the award show, many netizens praised MC Yoo for his thoughtful words, appropriate for Korea, currently going through a political corruption scandal. However, some supporters of President Park -- the Park Sa Mo fan club members -- wrote hateful comments toward the comedian.

One wrote, "Honestly, I am disappointed in Yoo Jae Suk. Saying those vague words seems to look down on 'Infinity Challenge' viewers." Another wrote, "Good. It's clear now that he is on the 'left' (politically opposing President Park). I think we should boycott what he endorses."

Another member of the President Park fanclub wrote, "I think all of the 'Infinity Challenge' members are on the 'left.' Just shut down the show and ban all of them from being on TV!"

What do you think about the issue?

Isn't Park on her way to being impeached? And the majority of Koreans dislike her, what could they [her supporters] do?

out of plain stupidity there isnt a law that couldnt impeach her she would have to had commit such a extremely brutal crime in order for her to be impeached.

Why to criticize? He only spoke true words. What he said is not against anybody, but true words about how a nation works.
