EXO Xiumin's fan club is getting compliments for fostering a mature fan culture by continuously donating to people in need.
Many fan clubs give in their star's name, but Xiumin's fan club stands out particularly as his fans have given about 200,000,000 KRW ($168,430 USD) over the last two years.

The fan club is actively donating abroad as well as domestically. Every year, on Xiumin's birthday, the fan club supports children who need help paying for their medical fees as well as those who are marginalized in society all around the world.
One fan club called 'Xiumin Palace' has been donating to the same organization regularly since 2014 -- a rare commitment among many who donate only once as an event.
A Xiumin fan club staff member stated, "We continue to give because we want to make a mature fan culture that will impact society in a positive way, based on our liking for the celebrity. We plan to donate more."
