Han Hye Jin reveals what his father-in-law said about her 8 year age gap with Ki Sung Yong

Actress Han Hye Jin revealed how her husband's parents reacted to the age difference when they first got together. 

On the December 23 episode of 'My Ugly Ducklings,' Han Hye Jin was asked about being being 8 years older than her husband, famous soccer player Ki Sung Yong. One of the MCs asked, "Did you parents feel bad that you were much older than Ki Sung Yong?" The actress replied, "My mom felt a little nervous about it at first." 

She added, "My family has three daughters. Because there was a big age gap, she frequently asked what my husband's parents thought about me."

Han Hye Jin shared their actual reactions. She stated, "My mother-in-law is very happy and positive. She laughed and said, 'It's so fun. I am for you guys. I am happy.' I was very surprised. She was so welcoming... My father-in-law said, 'Prove them wrong by living a happy life together." 

But she added, "He was a bit concerned, though, because one day he said, 'It's not an 8-year-difference; it's actually 7 years and 3 months when I counted." However, she expressed her gratitude for her father-in-law, saying, "My dad passed away a year before my wedding, so my father-in-law walked me down the aisle."
