Currently, Kim So Eun is working with her former 'We Got Married' partner, Song Jae Rim, on the SBS weekend drama 'Our Gab Soon'. Regarding her reunion with her on-screen husband in the drama, Kim So Eun said, "I met him after a long time but there wasn't any awkwardness. He felt like a very comfortable friend. Just like Gab Soon and Gab Dol in the drama. Like a friend of 10 years, it feels good to meet him even if its just once a year."

She also spoke up about her ideal type and clarified misunderstandings. Kim So Eun said, "I don't go by looks at all. I once said that I like Won Bin as a fan but that was edited and portrayed as if I like guys who are as handsome as Won Bin. A fan is just a fan. My true ideal type is someone who's very understanding, admirable, and whom I can learn from. I think looks don't matter if you can connect well [with him]."
