Former 4minute member Sohyun is transitioning into an actress under a new label.

935 Entertainment, the label of actors Nam Goong Min, Yeon Jung Hoon, Kim Yeo Jin, Dong Hyun Bae, and more, officially announced that Sohyun has signed a contract with them and she will officially be promoting as an actress from now on.

Originally, Sohyun debuted as a child actress and has appeared on dramas 'Dae Jang Geum', Age of Heroes', and more. She'll be further expanding her acting career under 935 Entertainment.

It's easier to for an idol to get cast into a Kpop drama than to find a company to launch a solo project - Unless it's an extremely popular idol most solo releases don't do that well for former members of groups.

GOOD that SOHYUN has that 'child actress' situation going for her. CROWDED situation though ; in terms of HOW MANY of *former* K-pop Idols are trying to become an ACTRESS now. NOT saying that SOHYUN is doing the wrong thing somehow. NO IDEA here what her 'prospects' might be as an actress.
