During a July 13 'V' broadcast titled 'Won2Day,' Wonder Girls' Sunmi and Lim discussed all things culinary.

Lim mentioned some of the most memorable dishes the other members had made for her in the past, telling Sunmi, "Among the food that the members made for me, the most memorable for me was your seaweed soup. I was touched when you made me the delicious tteokguk with seaweed."

Sunmi, smiling, replied, "Lim's parents are in Hong Kong, and when you get sick away from your home, it's very disheartening. When she was sick during promotions in the U.S., she was very down. I understood that feeling so I made the seaweed tteokguk for her like my mom used to make for me. I was touched that she ate the whole thing."

Sunmi sounds like a sweetheart!

Awww such a nice friend. I still missed the old 5-wonder girls but sunmi is such a talented and sweet person. I feel relieved to see wonder girls is doing well now. Great to see their interaction.

I love these two together! The fact that Sunmi and her original replacement Lim are now promoting together and showing how close they are even way back then makes me smile. SunLim! haha

Ain't it funny how Lim never did that OneChina crap? She both has class and brains, you go girl!

Isn't she Korean tho? But lived in Hong Kong. So I feel like she's not too pressured to say anything unlike those whose nationality is Chinese. And I feel like people from Hong Kong don't associate themselves with China. Idk. But I could be wrong.

People think she's Korean but she's just photogenic.

She is Korean. She was born in Seoul. She spent 14 years as a Hong Konger, so she knows what it's like to be in a territory occupied by the PRoC. That's why she's not saying anything.

It's because she grew up in Hong Kong, that's why she can sympathize with what happened. Good thing she didn't say anything about it,many of her fans will be hurt otherwise.

There's something really problematic with this statement.
