On July 21, Cube Entertainment CEO Hong Seung Sung took to his official SNS to announce his departure from the label he created back in 2008. Hong Seung Sung likewise announced his departure at a Cube board meeting on July 21.

Hong Seung Sung wrote,

"Hello, this is Cube Entertainment's Hong Seung Sung.

I intend to bid you all farewell through this account, where I've listened to every little word you've had to say to me.

After Cube Entertainment's official board meeting yesterday, I will be leaving Cube, which has been like a second half of me, a company I've poured my all into.

Thank you to all of you who have called this company 'Hong Cube' until today. Even when I was sick, I felt I was happiest while working, and lived by the principle 'moving one's heart with music, with people', so after leaving Cube I do not know what my days ahead will be like, but I feel apologetic for leaving without solving all of the problems within the complex fence that is Cube, for which many people have given their hearts to. Please treasure this eternal bond with Cube, which is a label created with your help, I sincerely ask that you cheer on and support the remaining Cube artists, even after my departure.

Again, I bow my head in gratitude toward all of the Cube artists who have done their best in their individual places, toward the Cube employees, and to you, family members of Cube who have loved us.

Please be healthy and happy."

We also wish former CEO Hong Seung Sung the best.

I think it's for the best. My thoughts have never been that positive about Cube's management nor leading figures

Guys please help me Report these stupid scammers who keep spamming allkpop. So they know not to post on here anymore...unless it's to fangirl over kpop.

Shitdowntaehyung Saturday, July 23, 2016

and downvote them.

You saw how ruthless Cube was by disbanding 4minute since they weren't making money, right? The rest of the groups under Cube will be stuck working overseas to make money or suffer disbandment ㅋ

krell Funky_Angel Saturday, July 23, 2016

With the 'Big 3 Agencies' (SMe ; YGe ; JYPe), the estimates are that 40% of their REVENUE comes from PRChina. So, to be 'stuck working overseas' is to actually be *paying attention* to those that FEED YOU !!! ... ;-) ... T-ARA Group worries *NOT* much about their popularity in S.KOREA. Because T-ARA is VERY POPULAR in PRChina. T-ARA does *not* have to 'deal with' WACKY S.KOREAN SASAENG TROLL behavior from their PRChina fans! ... ;-)

Is it "munth" or "month"? You've got no jams. I mean learn how to spell or at least check your typos if you want anyone to believe this.

Aww, cube has been in crisis for a while now, I hope the new CEO will be competent, and wish this CEO a happy life!

He was amazing, may his soul be blessed while fighting the disease. I wish for the company to continue prospering, but seeing the direction they're heading... I hope each group does well especially for Beast considering they've been there from bottom to top.

freya_xian88 Saturday, July 23, 2016

i am worried... beast and btob...

federick Saturday, July 23, 2016

I just can't imagine leaving something that you worked hard throughout your life to someone.

Applegm federick Saturday, July 23, 2016

Me too. But maybe he is really sick... :( We don't know :(

xxxdinorawrsxxx federick Saturday, July 23, 2016

The fact that he did let it go is heartbreaking since he may have felt so terrible being unfortunately incapable of stepping up, therefore just watching the company turn into something he didn't recognize to be "his" any longer :(

denn1sable Applegm Saturday, July 23, 2016

he's terminally sick. he's got ALS, known as lou gehrig's disease in the US, which is incurable.

woohyun_wifey Friday, July 22, 2016

cube was headed to doom ever since their CEO was changed. its just so sad :'(
