Cross Gene denied that any of the rumors surrounding Yongseok and Stellar's Hyoeun were true.

After rumors had spread that the two idols were dating, Cross Gene's label was quick to release a statement, writing, "Hello. We'd like to inform you that the rumours currently circulating the Internet regarding "YongSeok" are not true. We would like to apologise for disappointing fans and would like to state again it was unintended. Both our member "YongSeok" and the CROSS GENE STAFF will be careful to ensure such problems don't arise again in the future. "YongSeok" will continue to work harder in the future and we ask for your full support. We apologise again for any inconvenience caused."

Looks like rumors were just rumors, after all!

boygroups are under more pressure to clear up any dating rumours than girls. From what I've seen as a long time kpopper, girls rarely stan other girlgroups and are quick to attack if they even breathe near their biases which is completely crazy. in this case, seems like they know each other & are friendly (because they high fived each other at his concert or some shit) but i just dont ship them together .anyway, stellar girls are charming and cross gene boys are cute, aint no harm in lovin

I've just noticed... even when a company or an idol is denying a rumor, they still apologize for disappointing and promise to reflect and/or work harder (or some variation thereof). Is that just an expected response? Like the way an American would say, "how are you?" and you'd respond with "good" and neither comment really means anything?

bcz sadly, idols cant breathe without their fans permission. The culture of idol-fans-kpop is extreme and v different from hollywood. kidols have to make sure they dont step on any toes. at least hes back on the market (not like we had a chance anyway but hes way too hot for her IMO)
