On June 28, the Korean Consumer Forum announced the award winners of the '2016 Korea's Brand of the Year'.

This year's special award recipients were chosen by 100 Korean consumer representatives in their 20's and 30's, selecting 10 winners from a total of 88 brands.
Of the top 10 "brands of the year" to represent Korea, actor Song Joong Ki, idol group TWICE, comedian Jo Se Ho, and talented vocalist Ha Hyun Woo from indie band Guckkasten took 4 spots as representatives from the entertainment industry.
The '2016 Korea's Brand of the Year' awards ceremony will take place this coming July 19.
