EXO's Lay was recognized for his acting during the '2016 Fourth Chinese-English Film Festival' which was held this past June 26 in London.
The idol was conferred an award for Best Supporting Actor in 'Ex-Files 2' which was released late 2015. This recognition marks Lay's very first first acting award after he set up his personal studio in China last year.

Unfortunately, Lay was unable to personally accept the trophy because he was busy with EXO promotions. Instead, Tian Yusheng, the director of 'Ex-Files 2' accepted the award on Lay's behalf. Tian praised Lay highly with, "Lay's acting is very natural and he's a born genius at comic style acting. Normally he's very humble."
