tvN's variety program 'Father and I' aired recently, showing Eric Nam and his father meeting at the airport in Prague after arriving from Korea and the United States respectively. The hilarious thing was that neither was able to recognize the other!
While Eric Nam wondered if he'd recognize his father's voice, he passed right on by, causing laughter. �After the twists and turns, the two finally met up with his father asking, "Why did you not pick up your phone? �You need to check your messages well. �If you don't, we could be separated," causing awkwardness after seeing his son for the first time in a while.
Eric Nam revealed why he had been unable to recognize his father in his interview with, "Someone looked like my father, but I was unable to recognize him because he'd dyed his hair. �I was surprised because he had no white hair."
His father had also looked up and down at Eric Nam's clothes, stating, "I can't be seen with you," criticizing his style. �Eric Nam was dressed in comfortable training clothes and sandals.
In his own interview, Mr. Nam stated, "My son dressed really comfortably, whereas I had paid attention to what I wore... �I should have just dressed like that," expressing disappointment."
