CJ E&M rep reveals how much 'BOYS24' cost in investments over the past 3 years

During the press conference, CJ E&M's music department director Ahn Seok Jun opened up about the grand scale of the show, saying, "'BOYS24' is a monumental project for which we've invested 25,000,000,000 KR? (approximately 200,000,000 USD) in. We thought about it long and hard...These converging format performances include music, circus, storytelling, grand-scale set technology, and more." 

He continued, "We wanted to create the most notable, long-format performances. So we've converged K-Pop from the Hallyu trend and large group choreography. The 1st round of auditions will take place during 'BOYS24', and then we will select the final 6 after 1 full year of performances to form an idol group."

This show is no joke! The premiere airs this coming June 18!
