IOI went on talk show 'Taxi' on May 24, where Jeon So Mi gave her thoughts on debuting. Previously, she could have debuted as a member of JYP's newest girl group through the survival program 'Sixteen.'

She said, "It feels weird looking at TWICE.  There's been no contact for a year and then we met again [on broadcasts], so it felt like separated families reuniting.  To tell the truth, it's weird.  I'm in the middle of getting used to it.  I'm happy and it's nice," relaying gratitude for her fans for her debut.
