The National Election Commission (NEC) has appointed AOA's Seolhyun as the ambassador for their new campaign aiming to increase voter turnout amongst the younger generation for the upcoming April 13 general elections.
The commission even opened up a promotional ceremony to confer the idol with an appointment award. Secretary-general Kim Yong Hee stated, "We're looking forward for Seolhyun, who is much loved by the public, to work with the commission to play a big part in the wonderful public elections culture."

Seolhyun responded with, "I will aid in the efforts so that more citizens may be able to participate at the voting polls with a willing heart."
