Lee Dong Hwi says Hyeri's acting made him feel ashamed as an actor

Lee Dong Hwi, who was a part of the main cast on 'Reply 1988' alongside Girl's Day's Hyeri, relayed his honest opinion on the idol's acting on the January 26 episode of 'Taxi.'�

When Hyeri was initially cast for the role of Duk Seon for 'Reply 1988,' there was something of an uproar from netizens who criticized that she won't be fit to act out the role properly. Lee Dong Hwi carefully began, "I didn't not know about the�controversy�surrounding Hyeri."�

He continued, "After we read script reading for the first and second episodes, any concerns we had flew out the window. There was a scene where Duk Seon expresses her sorrows to her family and she was able to get that scene down perfectly. I felt really ashamed as an actor watching her."�
