This sixth grader sure knows how to stick up for a cause that she believes in! The little girl, who recently learned that half of the security guards at her apartment complex would be fired, wrote an opinionated letter protesting the decision to fire ten of the twenty security guards employed at the apartment complex.

The girl wrote, "I don't think it's right that you are firing half the security guards whom we've grown so fond of; plus, it isn't fair to them. It is my wish that all twenty of them continue to stay with us. Last year we voted that all of the security guards stay so it makes no sense to take back what we voted on. And if money is the problem, maybe the residents can pay a little more? I think it's the right thing to help one another out during hard times. I hope that the security guards will also be a part of the voting process tomorrow. Thank you for reading this!" 

What a thoughtful, precocious little girl! Hopefully security guards got to keep their jobs at the apartment complex as the girl wished.
