tvN's 'Reply 1988' will finally be jumping into 1994 next week! Rumors about the time shift have been around for a while, and it seems they've finally been confirmed.

One rep from the show revealed, "Viewers will see the jump into 1994 on the 17th episode, and it looks like the story from 1994 will be aired from the 18th episode. As it's a shift from the regular flow, the script for the 18th episode is taking a bit longer to write." Though there have been many denials and refusals to reveal spoilers from producers, it's apparent that the time jump speculation will be around for quite a while.
