When 4minute's Jiyoon joined 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' late in the game, we weren't too surprised. Last season also had a rapper join in the middle of the season. But this new addition of two more rappers, we definitely didn't see coming!
The two rappers who will be joining 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' are none other than Rubber Soul's Kim and Starship Entertainment's trainee Exy.
Both Kim and Exy have been reported and confirmed to be appear on the show, and both are reported to have filmed on October 5.
Exy's side stated, "Exy has released a mixtape before and is a talented rapper. Before her official debut, she'll take part in 'Unpretty Rapstar 2'. After that, she is planned to release an album. It's unknown whether she'll be in a group or go solo."
Mnet's representative told The Fact, "Kim recorded for 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' on October 5." And when asked to confirm whether she's officially joining the show, they replied, "It's hard to say specifically because it can be a spoiler. You can find out by watching the broadcast."
Exy released a mixtape with rapper Crucial Star on September 1 and Kim debuted in Rubber Soul this past February.
