During the showcase for first full album 'The Red' on September 8, Red Velvet talked about their desire to take home the trophy from a music show as well as become more like their senior girl group, Girls' Generation.

Wendy said, "As this is our first full-length album, we prepared it diligently, but I wonder if people won't recognize us despite how much we've prepared. �Our true hope is to get first place. Our wish is to win."

Yeri added, "We hope that this promotion will become one that gets our color out there. We will be grateful if we did get first place."

They were asked what they had felt while watching Girls' Generation's activities. Seulgi stated, "While watching Girls' Generation, I often thought that I wanted to create as natural a stage as that. �As much as we've returned with our first studio album, we prepared a lot. We want to show a natural and unaffected stage like the seniors."
