Seo Taiji and Boys' Lee Ju No accused of fraud by business partner

According to the police, Lee Ju No "has been accused of fraud as he never repaid 100 million KRW (~90K USD) to his business partner Choi after borrowing the money back in January of last year."

Lee Ju No had borrowed this sum of money last year from his business partner that he operates an eatery with. He had promised to pay back the amount in a week, but then never repaid the amount. Choi filed the lawsuit in April of this year, and in June Lee Ju No was questioned by the police, where he said "It's not that I didn't repay back the money on purpose". However, the police determined that Lee Ju No didn't seem to have much intention of paying back Choi, and have now forwarded their case over to the prosecution.

However, a source close to Lee Ju No talked to a media outlet and explained, "It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say Lee Ju No's current situation is right on the verge of bankruptcy. His financial situation right now is bad to the point that he can't even afford to pay rent."

The source also revealed that Choi isn't the only person Lee Ju No borrowed money from, and that Lee Ju No was trying his best for his family in a tough situation.
