A few Seoul policemen who safely control the traffic and crossroads for pedestrians in front of an elementary school, received awards that they say are truly "one of a kind."
The Seoul Police shared a recent story of 2nd graders who came to the nearby police station on their Facebook page, brightening the hearts of many netizens.
For the officers who have been watching out for the safety of these elementary students on a daily basis, they were presented with personalized awards from these students.
Warm sincerity was shown as hand-written awards were covered with colorful words and drawings only elementary students could have made, one particular award stating, "You are the best police officer."
As these morning police duties may seem like a mere routine for many, the fact that even a "thank you" was expressed from these young children was a surprising and heart-warming gift for the policemen.
What a great reminder for the rest of us that a little bit of kindness and gratitude can go a long way.
