Of course Girls' Generation didn't only top domestic music charts. This is a Girls' Generation comeback we're talking about! The girls also topped iTunes charts worldwide with their new album 'Lion Heart'!
As soon as their full album was released, 'Lion Heart' debuted at number 1 on the 'Albums Chart' in a total of 9 countries. This list includes Chile, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brunei, and Vietnam!
They also notably ranked 2nd in Mexico and Indonesia, 3rd in Costa Rica and Cambodia, 5th in Sweden, 8th in the Netherlands, and 9th in Norway.
In the 'Pop Albums Chart' category, Girls' Generation is similarly 1st in Chile, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and also in Costa Rica and Indonesia. They're 2nd in Mexico and Sweden, 3rd in Canada, Russia and Brazil, 4th in the U.S. and the Netherlands, 5th in Norway and Portugal, 7th in Australia, 9th in New Zealand, 10th in Spain, and 11th in the U.K.
That's a whole lot of countries who love Girls' Generation!
