Fans were left worried after the news of SPICA Jiwon's car accident, but thankfully she's okay according to an update from her agency!
SPICA's company told TVReport, "AfterJiwon finished practicing and headed home yesterday night, there was an accident. She was the one driving. She hit two taxis in the lane beside her. Thankfully it was not a big accident."
The car accident had occurred at Seongsudaegyo in Apgujeong, and the accident was determined to be caused by Jiwon falling asleep at the wheel.
The representative added, "She has a crack in her finger bone, so she has to have a cast on and rest for two weeks. Once her finger is completely healed, she'll resume practicing as she is currently preparing for SPICA's comeback this year."
The four people in the two taxis were also said to have suffered only minor injuries, so it seems the accident was a mild one.
