KARA's lovable maknae Youngji is ready to take on the acting world by storm! She has been cast as the lead in a new web drama, according to MBC Everyone.
A rep from the broadcasting station said on July 23, "KARA member Youngji will be appearing in a web drama we're producing called 'Alchemist.' Currently, 'Alchemist' is at the planning stage. We're in the midst of casting roles besides Youngji's; we're also in talks about the format for 'Alchemist.'"

The drama will center on the dating life of a refreshing female college student in her 20's. Youngji will be playing the lead who falls in love at first sight for an upperclassman, leading her to join a forbidden society. Probably for alchemy? Will you be watching?
