Jun Ji Hyun's film 'Assassination' breaks records with over a million tickets sold in three days

Korean blockbuster film 'Assassination' had a lot of hype going into it because of its star studded cast and interesting plot, but it's still managed to exceed expectations!

By the third day of the film's release, over a million tickets have been already sold! The movie just came out on July 22, and on July 24 at 8am KST, it was recorded that a million people had went to see 'Assassination'. Technically, the film surpassed a million box office tickets in just a little over two days.

'Assassination' surpassed a million tickets in the shortest span of time for a Korean movie released in 2015. That's more than impressive.

'Assassination' is a historical film set in 1933 during the Japanese occupation with an assassination plot to take out a pro-Japanese group. The film stars Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Jung Jae, Ha Jung Woo and more.
