Anticipation for the female lead casting for upcoming drama 'Cheese In The Trap' has been incredibly high. Suzy was a previously mentioned candidate, but it's actress Kim Go Eun who will ultimately play the role.
Kim Go Eun will take on the role of Hong Sul and play opposite Park Hae Jin in the tvN drama.
She stated on July 28, "While I was positively reviewing the role after receiving an offer, there were many difficulties because of schedule and various other reasons, so I had declined. But the director kindly adjusted the schedule, and because I trusted the director and was a fan of the production, I ultimately decided to take part."
Usually directors will simply state that their chosen actress was the best actress for the role, but director Lee Yun Jung was full of compliments for Kim Go Eun. The director said she has the strength to make any character her own, and revealed that she was the first actress they had offered the role to.
Since the director wanted her in the role so much that the drama schedule was adjusted, we can't wait to see how she'll take on her character.
