Woman charged with throwing her baby out the window

According to a report by MBN on June 12, a 20-year-old woman, Ms. Park, is being charged with throwing her baby boy out the window of a third floor right after giving birth to him at 1:20 AM on this day at a villa in Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do.  

Her act was discovered by her older brother who had been in the next room, heard the groan from her labor, and ran to check out what was going on.  She is being investigated on the charge of attempted murder of an infant.  Apparently, she started chatting via smart phone with a police officer she had met last year, which had resulted in her pregnancy.

Luckily, the baby had fallen on a trash heap of recyclables (plastic bottles and boxes), so he had survived the fall.  After a doctor's checkup, the baby was revealed to not have sustained much harm to his health.
