A representative of BH Entertainment said, "One netizen constantly asked to marry Ha Yeon Soo on her Facebook. After Ha Yeon Soo saw his comment, she told us that she personally responded with her discomfort. Ha Yeon Soo is the one personally posting up pictures, posts, and comments on the official Facebook made by the agency because she wants to communicate with her fans.
"Please understand the rather harsh tone she used in the said comment that can possibly create misunderstandings."

Shortly before the official statement from the agency, young actress Ha Yeon Soo made it to headlines when she decided to personally reply to an obsessive fan who constantly left inappropriate marriage proposal comments on her Facebook.
As quoted, the fan wrote, "Yeon Soo, you're the best! Please marry me! I can definitely support you. I'm not as competent as you, but I have a decent amount of savings. Please marry me."
In response to the fan's comment, the actress expressed her discomfort and fired back with, "This makes me uncomfortable. I really don't like jokes like this. Even if it was just a joke, you always ask me to marry you and then add in 'kekekekekekekekeke.' And because it is always chillingly the same comment, I remember it well. Always the same message and the same emoji.. I wondered if you were a bit mentally unstable.
"I think that you are taking it too far, saying marriage, marriage, in every comment. Is this not embarrassing if you think about your future wife? I don't know how old you are, but please consider other people's feelings before you speak. Have a great day."
