On the May 22 installment of JTBC's 'Witch Hunt', Sung Si Kyung revealed that he has previously befriended people he met online.

The show featured a woman who met a man through a blog and couldn't figure out whether he had real romantic feelings for her. Sung Si Kyung said, "In the past, I've met some people who I've come to know from playing go-stop on the internet. We played a game with three people, and they seemed like very kind and good people. That's why I asked if we could meet [in person]."
He continued, "[In person] they seemed like good people [too]. When I revealed the truth that I was a singer to them, they were surprised."
