Netizens who spread rumors about Lovelyz's Seo Ji Soo fined and convicted for summary offense

It has been recently reported that the two who were responsible for spreading rumors online about Lovelyz's Seo Ji Soo have been arrested for summary offense.�

According to judicial representatives, the case between Seo Ji Soo and A and B has been sent to the public prosecutor's office where the prosecutor charged A and B with a fine. At the arraignment, the prosecutor stated, "The defendants publicly spread false facts online with the objective of slandering the victim, causing defamation."�

On May 8, a rep from Woollim Entertainment told Herald POP, "We've waited for the results of the investigation for a long time. The summary offense and fine have been confirmed. We will soon be releasing an official statement [in regards to the matter]."

Meanwhile, Seo Ji Soo had been in and out of the hospital due to unstable mental health conditions since the rumors and was later revealed to be�temporarily unable to join Lovelyz for their debut.
