The show was originally scheduled to air in early April, but the premiere was delayed. Mnet's 'Sixteen' has now finalized the date and will be releasing a teaser!
As mentioned before, the show will be pitting trainees against each other for the next JYPE girl group. The show will follow 7 trainees, who are currently training to be in JYP's upcoming girl group, and 9 other trainees, who will try to take their spots.

According to Mnet, J.Y. Park stated, "The thing that makes me most excited and leaves me in anticipation while doing this program is that I have no idea who I'm really going to pick."
Starting from April 13, the agency will also start releasing profiles of the 16 candidates through Mnet's channel. We saw a glimpse at some of them through miss A's latest music video, but these upcoming introductory clips will give us a better idea of each potential member of JYPE's new girl group.
'Sixteen' will start airing on May 5 for a total of 10 episodes every Tuesday!
