Choi Jin Sil

Son Hyun Joo said things might've gone a little differently in the tragic case of actress Choi Jin Sil, who committed suicide, if he had made one different decision that night.

"I worked with her the day before the incident," he spoke in a recent interview. "She wasn't looking so well, so I asked if there was something wrong. She said that everything was fine."

"I then spoke with the camera directors and the staff and said she should go home and get some rest since she's not in good condition today, and just filmed my portions while she went home," he continued. "About 30 minutes later, I saw her again and she was looking for something. Then she went out again, and came back an hour later, still looking for something."

"At that time, she told me, 'Oppa, come to that restaurant tonight that we always go to. You have to come'. But since filming took too long, I wasn't able to go there," he said. "I was in my car, tired, when I heard the news. At first, I thought it was something like drunk driving, but that wasn't it at all. After that, I couldn't pick up work again. I keep thinking about it. If I had been there that night. Her destiny could have been different, but I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to be there."

Things might have gone differently if Son Hyun Joo had made a different decision that fateful night. What do you think you would've done if you had been in his shoes?
