Taeyang leaned towards a 'me, myself, and I' concept in the simple, black-and-white pictorial which reminded fans just how charismatic he is. When asked if he listened to his album 'RISE' after it was released, he revealed that he is eager to listen to the constructive criticism. He shared, "I think I need more time until I can listen to [the album] with a more cool heart. As for now, I just want to hear what those who listened to it have to say."
