Nana previously shared the hardships of idol life, bringing her 'roommate'�Hong Soo Hyun to tears. But she points out in her 'GEEK' magazine interview that her secret to getting through it all is her positive mindset. She shared, "As I got busy, I tried to have a positive mindset and it's both difficult and fun. Even though I can't sleep often, it's fun."
She also commented on 'Roommate', "The 'Roommate' set is just a house. If I am wary of the cameras and try to only show my pretty side, I will get stress and exhausted... I go to the set just thinking that I will go and meet my unnis and oppas."
