On December 24, Seo Taiji unveiled his plans for a ninth album on his official home page.
He wrote:
"Merry Christmas Ho Ho Ho.
I will do a simple update on my life today for those who are eagerly waiting for news about the ninth album. Anyway, this is really late, but since settling in Korea, I have been productive with my music so I am almost done with it. So I think that I can finally start recording early next year. Although it would probably take until about the middle or later half of next year, I am planning to release the complete ninth album in an accident-free 2014. Our fans are probably so exhausted because they are sick of waiting, but please wait a little longer."
